Hyla versicolor
These small arboreal frogs can be found in much of southern Quebec but you need to be very observant to see them. They are nocturnal hunters. As their name suggests, they can change the colour of their skin and this in relation to temperature and light levels. They are lighter at night and darker during the day. They require trees and water during their life cycle - both of which are abundant on the lands protected by Creek 53.
