The meadows protected by Creek 53 provide nesting sites for these beautiful birds whose population is continually declining. At Creek 53 we are committed to maintaining the meadows and hayfields that are their breeding habitat.
The Bobolink was listed as a species at risk in 2017, it is also protected by the Canadian Species at Risk Act (SARA).
